Children & Youth at Riviera

Children & Youth are the heart of Riviera Church

Children’s Sunday School

Children are the heart of Riviera Church!  Each Sunday they start with us in worship through the ‘Children’s Message’ and then go to Children Sunday School where they have a weekly adventure throughout the Bible with their Sunday School teachers, via exciting stories, arts and crafts, and active games.

The goal of this living-faith experience is to help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!

In the summer months, the children’s curriculum parallels the sermon series so that children and parents can share discoveries they have made.

Children at Riviera are a part of our worshipping community and participate in the sacraments of Communion and Baptism.

When Does Children Sunday School Meet?

The children Sunday School of Riviera meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month during the school year.  They stay for the beginning part of the worship service and at 11:15am meet with their teachers.

They are studying a curriculum called ‘Faith Questions’ which is based upon questions posed by youth.

Some of the topics for discussion are:

  • Being a Presbyterian
  • Money
  • Politics
  • Faith and Science
  • Relationships
